The Night Sac Faubourg Birkin 20 is among the most architecturally ambitious pieces the house has produced. The exterior presents a trompe-l'œil façade of the 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré address rendered in leather appliqué - windows, ironwork, and awning detail realised across the body of a Birkin 20. The ground material is matte alligator in Bleu Marine, its subdued finish providing contrast to the multi-tonal façade in navy, cream, and orange.
Palladium hardware in the 20 cm format gives the piece a precision that larger sizes cannot replicate. The double rolled handles, also in alligator, are paired with the house's standard clochette and padlock in the same cool-toned metal.
This is a collector edition in the truest sense: a piece conceived as an object of cultural and artistic significance as much as a functional bag. It is rarely encountered outside private collections and major auction appearances. Intended for the collector for whom provenance and rarity of configuration are the primary consideration.
