The Mini Bolide on Wheels is among the more singular pieces to circulate through the authenticated resale market - a deliberate piece of wit from the Hermès ateliers, executed with the same rigour applied to every bag the maison produces. The Bolide's original 1923 silhouette, characterised by its zip closure and clean rounded profile, is here reimagined in miniature, set atop two white resin wheels inset with palladium-tone bolts. Paille - a warm, natural straw yellow - is rendered in Epsom leather, its embossed grain maintaining the bag's structure and resisting surface marking with equal precision. Palladium hardware, including the zip pull and double rolled top handle fittings, is presented in polished, unmarked condition. Compact in scale, the piece functions as a collector's object as readily as it does a carried accessory. It is rare in both configuration and colour, and seldom appears at this condition grade. Suited to those who appreciate provenance and the occasional departure from convention - both equally Hermès.
