The Kelly Ghillies is among the rarest configurations the house has produced - a Kelly silhouette distinguished by brogue-perforated trim detailing at the flap edge and base corners, referencing Hermès's equestrian origins with characteristic restraint. This example is the 35 in Retourné construction - softer, interior-stitched, and more relaxed in profile than its Sellier counterpart - finished in Fauve Tadelakt leather with gold hardware. Tadelakt is a smooth, fine-grained calfskin with a subtle sheen, highly susceptible to patina and favoured by collectors who appreciate leather that develops character over time. Fauve, a warm tan moving towards amber, works in particular harmony with gold hardware and the tonal perforations of the Ghillies trim. Produced as part of the 2013 special edition collection, this configuration is seldom encountered in the authenticated resale market.
