The Hermès Les Léopards 140cm scarf - issued through the Boutique Paris - presents four mirrored leopards with spotted coats and striped tails, set among tropical birds with vivid plumage and botanical outlines of flowers and foliage. The white ground gives the composition exceptional clarity, allowing the polychrome print to read with the precision of a hand-engraved illustration. A fine black border frames the design; the Boutique Paris provenance text appears at the base.
At 140cm, the format accommodates the full breadth of the composition and offers considerable versatility: worn as a shawl, tied as a head wrap, or displayed as a framed textile. This is a collector-grade edition, brand new and unworn.
The Hermès carré, in any format, is produced on Lyon-woven silk twill, each colourway printed through multiple screens to achieve the depth of tone visible here. Pieces from Boutique Paris releases circulate rarely outside private collections.
