The Haut à Courroies - the HAC - predates the Birkin by decades. Originally conceived for equestrian travel, its tall, structured silhouette was built to carry a saddle. Today, the HAC 50 is one of the rarest and most quietly commanding pieces in the Hermès range: oversized, deliberate, and chosen almost exclusively by those who know exactly what they are looking at.
This example is crafted in Black Togo leather - a pebbled calfskin renowned for its resistance to scratching and its ability to hold structure over time. Palladium hardware finishes the double-rolled handles and front flap closure with characteristic restraint. Blind stamp U (2023) confirms recent production.
Condition: unused. Protective seals remain intact across all hardware. Complete set includes dust bag, lock, keys, clochette, felt, and receipt.
