This example is crafted in black shiny alligator, one of the rarest materials the atelier employs. The uniform scale pattern and high-gloss finish of alligator skin lend the piece an intensity that matte leathers cannot replicate. In noir, the effect is formal and uncompromising. Gold-tone hardware provides the single note of contrast.
