The Bolide on Wheels is one of the more singular objects to emerge from the Hermès ateliers - a collector piece that translates the classic Bolide dome silhouette into a miniature wheeled form, complete with burgundy rolling wheels set on palladium-tone hubs. Executed in Bleu Hydra Epsom leather, the vivid cobalt exterior benefits from Epsom's embossed grain: resistant to scratching, structured, and colour-fast over time. Twin rolled top handles and a zip closure maintain the functionality of the original Bolide, while the arch cutouts at the base - accommodating the wheels - confirm this as an object conceived as much for the display cabinet as for the shoulder. Palladium hardware throughout provides a cool counterpoint to the saturated blue. A piece for the collector whose archive extends beyond the principal silhouettes - and who recognises the Bolide on Wheels as the rare, edition-specific configuration it is. Condition is new.
