From the Black to Light High Jewelry collection, this necklace is one of the most architecturally ambitious pieces Hermès has produced in fine jewellery. Designed by Pierre Hardy and inspired by the passage from darkness into light, it is crafted in rose gold and set with brilliant-cut diamonds, black spinel, and onyx. The silhouette takes the form of a lariat - a fine mesh tubular rope, drawn from the maison's equestrian heritage, descending into a diamond-set tassel. It is a collector's piece in the fullest sense: limited in production, exceptional in execution, and virtually absent from the open market. The necklace is equally suited to formal occasions and private wear, worn against bare skin where the interplay of warm gold and dark stones can be appreciated at close range.
