The Chypre is the more considered, more architectural counterpart to the Oran - where the flat slide is effortless, the Chypre introduces an adjustable velcro ankle strap, a padded footbed, and a substantial chunky rubber sole that positions it comfortably between resort and city wear. This example in matte black smooth leather is the most versatile configuration: the H-strap toe band reads clearly against a clean sole, and the overall silhouette is equally at home with tailored shorts, linen trousers, or summer dresses.
