The Birkin 25 in Trench is a study in restrained elegance. Togo leather - a pebbled, supple calfskin known for its resilience and resistance to scratching - carries the warm beige-neutral tone of Trench with particular depth, the grain catching light in a way that smooth leathers cannot.
Palladium hardware finishes the piece cleanly: the twin turn-lock clasps, bar-stitch tabs, and protective base feet all retain their original lustre. The double rolled top handles sit comfortably in hand or over the forearm, and the structured trapezoid silhouette holds its shape without reinforcement.
The Birkin 25 is the smaller of the two standard Birkin sizes - precise, considered, and well suited to occasions where the Birkin 35 would be too much. Day to evening, city to travel: the 25 carries what matters without excess.
Founded in Paris in 1837, Hermès has assembled every Birkin by a single artisan, start to finish, using the saddle-stitching technique that traces back to its equestrian origins. Each piece represents between 18 and 25 hours of work.
