The Birkin 25 in Varanus Salvator lizard is among the rarest configurations the house produces in exotic leather. Salvator lizard - sourced from the water monitor - presents a distinctive scale pattern that differs markedly from alligator or crocodile: finer in texture, with a tonal complexity that rewards close examination. The ombré treatment here moves from pale yellow into warm grey-brown, a gradation applied with the kind of precision that only hand-finishing can achieve.
Palladium hardware - turn-lock, padlock, and clochette - provides a cool, understated counterpoint to the warm tonal shift of the leather. The 25 cm format concentrates the scale pattern and colour gradient into a tighter field, making the material's character more legible.
