The Birkin 25 in matte crocodile leather represents one of the rarest configurations within the Hermès catalogue. Exotic leather Birkins are produced in strictly limited numbers, allocated at the discretion of the maison, and seldom reach the open market. This example is presented in vert d'eau - a pale, mineral-inflected mint green that reads differently across light conditions, from cool grey in shade to a clear aquatic tone in natural light. Matte finish crocodile suppresses the reflectivity of the scale pattern, producing a surface that is tactile and discreet rather than conspicuous. Gold-tone hardware including the signature turn-lock clasp and buckled front strap is presented in clean, unscratched condition. Cream suede protective coverings to the handles and strap detail indicate careful prior ownership. The Birkin 25 is the most compact of the standard Birkin sizes - structured enough to hold its shape, compact enough for evening use or travel.
