The Egée is among the most considered evening pieces in the Hermès collection - a flat, structured clutch whose understated silhouette is offset by hardware of significant specification. This example is executed in shiny exotic leather, with the characteristic scale pattern catching light across the surface in a way that smooth leathers cannot replicate. The closure is a large double-ring silver-tone Chaîne d'Ancre - the anchor-chain motif that traces its origins to the maison's equestrian heritage - set with diamonds.
