The Birkin 25 in béton matte alligator leather occupies a rare position: an exotic skin in a neutral tone that transcends season and occasion. Béton - a muted, biscuit-grey - allows the scale pattern and the craftsmanship of the matte alligator to read without the distraction of colour. The result is understated in register, exceptional in material.
Matte alligator does not chase the light. Its surface is calm and precise, and the defined scale pattern across the structured body reflects the hours of hand-selection and craftsmanship that distinguish alligator allocations from the maison's standard leather production.
Palladium hardware - double rolled top handles, turn-lock closure, padlock, and clochette - holds its cool tone in clean contrast to the warm grey of the leather.
