Description
The Mini Bolide 1923 - Hermès' reinterpretation of one of the maison's oldest silhouettes - distils a century of craftsmanship into a compact, shoulder-friendly format. This example is presented in Sakura pink chèvre leather: a pale, precise rose achieved in goatskin, a material prized for its fine grain, light weight, and exceptional resistance to daily wear.
Palladium hardware provides a cool, contemporary contrast to the warmth of the colourway. The shoulder strap makes this a practical as well as collector-worthy piece - equally suited to a gallery opening, an evening engagement, or a weekend in the city. The zip closure and structured base are functional signatures of the original Bolide design, first introduced in 1923 as one of the first bags designed specifically around a zip fastening.
Blind stamp K confirms production in 2007. The Mini Bolide circulates in far smaller numbers than the Birkin or Kelly and is rarely encountered in this colourway and leather combination outside private collections.
