Description
The Hermès Mini Constance is one of the house's most quietly significant pieces. Introduced in 1959 and named after a designer's daughter, the Constance was a favourite of Jackie Kennedy Onassis - and the mini format distils that heritage into its most compact, wearable form. This example is presented in Gris Mouette, a cool, sophisticated grey rendered in Épsom leather. Épsom's embossed grain holds its shape precisely, resists marking, and ages with exceptional consistency. The oversized palladium-finished H-clasp - one of the few places the maison permits its initial to appear - is bright and unscratched. The single adjustable shoulder strap allows for clean cross-body wear. Blind stamp X indicates production circa 2016. Suited to the collector who values restraint as much as rarity.
