The Birkin 35 in a Special Order (SO) tricolour configuration is among the rarest expressions of the silhouette. This example combines fennel green Togo leather for the body, Hermès orange for the central panel, and red for the flag trim - a composition that could only have been specified through the maison's by-appointment SO programme. Togo's supple, pebbled grain wears exceptionally well over time, resisting scratching while developing a subtle patina. The rolled dual handles are finished in chartreuse green, tying the palette together with precision. Silver-tone hardware completes the piece. A bag of this specification suits the collector who understands the rarity of SO commissions - equally at home carried to a private view or held in archive.
