The Kelly Élan Folie is one of the most singular expressions to emerge from the Kellys long history. Where the standard Élan presents the silhouette in its cleanest form, the Folie introduces ostrich feather trim - structured plumage in Vert Mangrove that fringes the base of the bag in a deep, forest-toned complement to the Vert Cypress Chèvre body. The contrast between the matte goatskin leather and the textural depth of the feathering is deliberate and precise.
Chèvre (goatskin) is among the most durable leathers in the Hermès repertoire: fine-grained, naturally resistant to scratching, and capable of holding colour with exceptional fidelity over years of use. Vert Cypress - a deep, saturated forest green - is a shade with serious collector appeal, rarely seen in combination with a feather application of this kind.
